1. How "EZ" is it?

Q: How "EZ" is it?
A: Well it all depends on how comfortable you are of booting your system to our floppy or CD version. Then answering just a few questions and walking away.

Q: Does it support SCSI CD-ROM drives?
A: Currently EZ OS Install can only support IDE CD-ROM drives.

Q: Everytime I enter the Name, Company Name, Computer Name, and COA it asks me the questions again (Looping)?
A: This can occur if your CD-ROM drive was not detected. EZ OS INSTALL was written to work with most of the standard IDE based CD-ROMS. EZ OS INSTALL will not function if your CD-ROM drive is connected to the sound card, SCSI, USB, Paralle, PCMCIA, or IEEE1394 (FireWire). If your CD-ROM drive requires a special CD-ROM driver you can overwrite the floppy version of EZ OS INSTALL CD-ROM driver with your own. Rename your driver (.sys) to CDROM.SYS and copy it to the foot directory of the EZ OS INSTALL floppy disk. if asked to overwrite click the [YES] button.

Q: Why are Windows 98 and ME not 100% automated during the installation?
A: Well this was by design by Microsoft.

Q: Do I need a CD burner for the CD-ROM ISO version?
A: Yes, to properly use the CD-ROM ISO version you must have a CD burner drive and appropriate software: Easy CD Creator, Nero, etc..

Q: I purchased EZ OS Install and I am unable to log on?
A: If you have paid for EZ OS Install and are unable to log on please submit trouble ticket. Click Here

Q: Will EZ OS Install work with a "Restore CD" from Compaq, HP and Gateway?
A: No, If you only have a "Restore CD" from your computer manufacturer EZ OS Install or any other boot disk will not work. EZ OS Install will work with any retail copy of Windows.
